The traditional gym has got fancy machines with a nice airconditioned environment where you normally find yourself alone or having to wait for a machine and secondly you will see that most machines only work the extremity or one muscle group at a time with not really offering you “the core to extremity" approach to challenge you to get a full-body workout. Normally the fee is much cheaper but most of those members pay and never go to the gym. When you do get a personal trainer you pay way more for someone that shows you the same exercises which target only the extremity and one muscle group at a time, once again. Our facility works only for one hour or one and a half hour per class with the “core to extremity" approach the whole time. Plus you will be learning valuable skills and get your cardio at the same time without having to go on treadmills or bicycles after your gym workout which can leave you training for hours. A lot of people also want to train with a friend before going to the traditional gym whereas with us you have a community of people training by your side to encourage and help you.

We use longer contracts to help our members commit to training as training in itself, although very exciting and lots of fun can take some self-discipline, especially in the beginning. The member normally thanks us for it later. We also have a lot of monthly expenses keeping super quality trainers and state of the art equipment in great shape. The reason we charge more for the shorter terms, is because we feel that we can award you for looking after your body for a longer-term and that a short term like a month as an example, will not really benefit you as much as a longer-term, unless they are already in great shape and skill level and perhaps just in the area for a short time.

We are affiliated with CrossFit international, Rio Grappling Club worldwide for our Brazilian JIU Jitsu and MMASA for our mixed martial arts.
Although we do not have a dedicated play area with a caretaker, our facility is one big play area where a lot of parents do bring their smaller children with, normally during the quiet times where no classes are happening, like personal training or when members want to use our facility anytime during the day.

There are competitions on a monthly basis around Cape Town and South Africa and it varies from Crossfit right to JIU Jitsu. We also host our own in house events 3 to 4 times a year.
We use the international Brazilian JIU Jitsu federation’s guidance in terms of beginner classes under master Roberto Atalla, 6th-degree black belt, with 9 modules to guide the white and blue belt students.
